Yes, pretty much the class can smell it. My sneeze smells are strong. They are as strong as perfume. Like I would sneeze in my room for example, and then get up and leave for a few seconds and come back and the smell is still in the room. Once it lingered for 10 minutes. I think it's my spit in the air. I spit out a lot of spit when I sneeze.

Has it also happen in the car or anywhere else? And have you smelled other people's sneeze?

Honey don't use matches, there's all sorts of screwed up chems in match-heads. The gas from your lighter is fine xD

I found the solution to this problem.I had to deal with it for a few years but I found out that my molar which was not properly covered was accumulating plague and dirt which was causing a rot to my gum and the stink in my breath

Go see your dentist I had the same problem for a number of years, until last week when I went to the dentist for my bi annual check up and this time they looked at my molar and found that it was rotting underneath due to plague build up and food residue which had accumulated underneath due to the gum not covering up properly. most time the x-ray done never covers the molar

Once I sneezed very very hard and it really smelt bad like sh*t. Everyone in the room had to leave as the smell was intolerable. I was really embarrassed. Later I realized that due to the hard sneezing, some liquid sh*t had leaked from by anus thus causing the bad smell.

It has happened in the car, but no one said anything. I have smelled other people's sneezes and some smell different. Most smell like your smelling inside someone's mouth, but some have smelled like farts and eggs.

It's always this weird metallic musky smell, and usually happens in enclosed areas like inside the car. Happens alot when I'm with my friend, he sneezes very open and loud, the whole car smells for minutes. He thought it was only him that could smell it

Wow~! Farts and eggs haha. My dad had some sneezes that smelled a bit sweet and very cinnamony, and as someone had probably described before, it is pretty musky.
My dad considers it as a normal thing, only a few people including my mom found it pretty gross. One occasion when we were on holiday, he sneezed during breakfast and when inside the car, he said "Nothing like the smell of dad's sneeze in the morning right boys?" omg my mother was gaggin'

Oh I know. It usually smells like metal most of the time now. That or farts and eggs. It's funny, because people who have never smelled my sneeze think that sneezes don't smell.

I also hadn't heard of this until recently. After hearing about it for the first time I found that I was having them every so often. I feel like maybe everybody has them but not many of us notice.

About 20 years ago I started to notice that very occasionally I would get a very strange smell when I sneezed hard. I get a sudden really bad irritation at the back of my nose and then have an explosive sneeze followed by an uncontrollable string of lesser ones. These recur until my nose runs clear fluid. If I blow my nose before this happens then sneezing will resume but not with the small. The smell, when it happens, is like the old carpentry glue we used at school woodwork classes in the 1960's! I assumed that it was some strange sensory reaction and only I could smell it. Then one day I sneezed in the car and my wife commented "what is that weird smell of wood glue?" I also thought I was the only person experiencing this problem until I read this thread. I don't have breath problems, never had tonsillitis and get teeth checked and scaled regularly. I'm leaning towards view that it is a fungus in the sinuses that flares up now and then but I don't have the symptoms described of sinusitis. Needless to say doctors ignore it saying nothing's wrong - just as other people posting have experienced. I hope this helps others having this experience feel that they're not very unusual after all.
