For the past year or two I have had almost unbearable stomach pains that last from 1 to 10 minutes. The pain feels intense enough to make me curl up into a ball on a flat surface and start burping (This is the only way I can seem to get the pain to stop), If I do not do this the pain goes on for an unestimated amount of time. I'm not sure what the problem is. I, at first, thought is was because I prevented myself from burping on several occasions, but then I stopped doing that and the pain persisted (this pain occurs several times a day). I'm not sure what to do or what it is, I have not seen a doctor on the matter, but I have talked to my parents (I am only 17 years old) and they just said, "Well burp til it goes away like you always do" which made me believe it was no concern, but as it continues it is beginning to worry me, as it does seem to be getting worse and more frequent. If it helps to know, my eating habits usually consists of packaged meats (bologna, ham, etc), fast foods, home cooked meals (ham and pineapple, steak, pork chops, broccoli and cheese, etc), but my only beverage (unless at school where milk is the only thing available) I only drink carbonated drinks (Mostly coca-cola or mountain dew). Please if someone could give me any lead as to what could be causing these pains I would be most grateful.
