Hi so I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 13 and I am 29 now. Have had all the physical symptoms high blood pressure, struggled with my weight all my life, increased hair growth, never had acne though thank-goodness because I was blessed with good skin, painful periods that would last what seemed like forever. Finally my periods stopped around the age of 13 and I didn't have one for a year until I was put on birth control pills and metformin. This month I decided to skip my period because I have had multiple kidney stones since January and have been in a lot of pain from those, wanted to give my body some what of a break and so I didn't take my birth control pills. However I still got my period this month which is puzzling me because I don't have my period unless I take the pill. Just wondering if the metformin is working? Could I possibly be fertile or even ovulating? I haven't ovulated in years....Can anybody help me with this? Thanks! Sarah
