Hello,

It has been exactly 9 weeks since I had gum grafting surgery on one bottom tooth (periodontist performed the alloderm method). The gum around the tooth area is still slightly redder than normal, but there is no pain whatsoever. I THINK it's almost 100% but I'm not sure. However what has me deeply worried is that the bottom of my tooth area still looks about the same as before I had the surgery (the part of the tooth that makes it look "long"). Is this normal? I'm very worried that the gum did not heal properly because I've been told that it takes up to 8 weeks to heal, and I'm freaking out I'm going to have to get surgery again.
