Has Anyone Had The Robotic Hysterectomy and Now Experiencing Back Pain or Any Other Problems

Yes!!! I had Davinci robot hysterectomy 4 weeks ago and in a ridiculous amount of pain in my lower back, calve pain and very sick to my stomach all the time. Generally uncomfortable to incapacitating pain near surgical incisions. I don't know what's normal and what's not?

I HAD ONE ON OCT. 1, 2013. ON OCT. 24 I WAS TAKEN TO THE ER I HAD PASSED EXTREMELY LARGE BLOOD CLOTS, LOST A LOT OF BLOOD AND HAD SURGERY, EVIDENTLY A STITCH FELL OUT. I WAS GIVEN 5 PINTS OF BLOOD AND WAS THERE FOR 2 OR THREE DAYS. SINCE THEN I FEEL SICK TO MY STOMACH AND TERRIBLE BURNING BY MY GROIN AND AROUND THE INCISIONS. I ALSO HAVE A LOT OF GAS AND NO CONTROL OF MY BLADDER. I MENTIONED THIS TO THE GYN WHO DID THIS SURGERY AND HE DIDN'T SAY MUCH. SOMETHING TELLS ME I'M GONNA HAVE MORE SURGERIES.

I had a robotic ratical hysterectomy in December 2012 and haven't been able to urinate since. i just recently got out of the hospital for phustimonis infection due to a super pubic port that was put in. i was told all of the nerves around my bladder were cut during the surgery and i will never use my bladder again. :0(

Yes i had robatic full hysterectomy dec 2012 and since then i have lower back pain and hip pain i never had that pain before plus i dont have the same energy that i had before the surgery i feel tired quick C.

There are lawsuits for the surgeries . You might wanna look into it . It seems they made some major mistakes ..severing all the nerves around your bladder ...NOT GOOD

Yes! I do! I had my hysterectomy 8-9 weeks ago... Everything gone but my right overy. I have a hard time walking and every morning when i wake my upper thigh are and inner muscle are between my girl stuff and slightly over starts to hurt, burning and pressure. They said I'm just a slow healer! I am not going to live like this! I will get to the bottom. I think I need to start with a different doc first and see if any nerve damage was done during the surgery.

I feel that robotic sugery cannot be made safe. I had my surgery done in June of 2013 and here it is May of 2015 and I am still running around from doctor to doctor. The unskilled doctor works in Orange County California and is part of a hospital there in Laguna, California. Everyone covers for him. So, try to get help for your injuries, but not from the doctor that did your sugery. He or she will not help you. They are instructed by Intuitive NOT to help or admit ANYTHING. It really is horrible that they are still in business. It makes me so angry. But until the consuming public says "no more," intutive will keep making these machines.
