I have been treated three times for a bacterial infection. My symptons were lower back pains and a strong odor in the urine-nothing fishy, no discharge, no frequent urination or change in color. I was treated with Flagy and the infections seemed to clear up. A week or so later, they returned-only this time without the back ache. I was given a 7 day cream-clyndomyicin which cleared it up -once again but a week later, the odor came back and I'm quite frustrated,needles to say very concerned. I have only one sex partner and am concerned that maybe it was something that he should have been treated for simultaniously,because it keeps re-occuring. Is this something that he should be treated for ? And why is this re-occurring ? Could there be something else going on- like Kidney failure, diabetes,or am I possibly over looking what may be an STD ?
