Hello,
Just a week ago, I started to pee more than usual. Then it slowly became the fact that I get the sensation to pee, but when I go either little comes out or none at all (even if it feels like I'm about to pee myself). If I walk around or stay in one place for a while, the feeling goes away until I really do have to pee and then it returns and goes on for a while. I am 16 and have had sex a few times (literally), but with the same partner and we were both virgins (I don't know if that matters or not). For a while I thought I might be pregnant, but I did start my period. I looked some symptoms up and I have a few possibilities: UTI, Kidney Infection, Cystitis (sp?), etc. I do not have blood in my urine, but I do occassionally have a sharp pain in my pelvis (maybe once every few weeks or sooner).
Now my abdomenal pain started when one day I woke up and could barely stand (suddenly, I did not have any other symptoms before that morning). I didn't think much of it and went to school, but the pain just got worse until I couldn't stand straight at all, I had to either bend over or double over. After my mom came and got me, it subsided a bit and by the time we got to the doctor after about half an hour I didn't feel it much at all anymore. Since that day I get sharp pains and aches all in my abdomen. Sometimes they start like period cramps would, but end up shooting pain to my ribs and lower back a lot.
I am on birth control (for a cyst they thought I had for a while, now to control periods). I take Loestrin 24 (sp?). I started taking it after the day I couldn't stand very well. Since the bc, it almost seems like the pain has gotten worse. Could low estrogen levels cause this? Could I have many different things wrong with me? I was born with a low immunity, but I think it's been building up strength. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
