I am 16 years old and have recently had the feeling of losing my mind. It started at 2 nights ago when I had a splitting headache with slight nausea. I went to bed like normal after taking a small amount of melatonin, benadryl, and one pill of ibuprofen. I woke up very vividly at 3 o'clock in the morning with the feeling of confusion and dizziness. I tried to stand and found that I could not remain standing still without falling over sideways. I went back to bed and tried to forget about it. I got up and had trouble walking and standing. I decided to stay home from school and tried to stay hydrated. I went to the doctor that day to see if I had gotten the strep throat that had been going around my family. I got my lab results negative and the doctor couldn't find anything obviously wrong with me. I went to bed like normal and slept longer than was normal for me. I got up and found I had trouble with words. It wasn't big, just a little slurring here and there. I tried to think harder, but the harder I tried to think the more my headache increased. I've had feelings of confusion, dizziness, Loss of balance, Headaches and I feel like part of my mind has gone on vacation.

I have had the same sort of thing recently but mine i think is because of medication. But my suggestion to you is to please get your self to s hospital as this sort of thing is not minor . If it is still occurring go to your hospital soon . Especially at your age you should not be having those things happening to you .
