I have a terrible problem with pigeons. I know pigeons are like flying rats and so I keep my balcony clear of food or anything that might attract them, but pigeons still come onto my balcony all the time. Are there herbs that I could place on my balcony to ward off pigeons?

I have seen people use old CD's on fishing line with spinners (fishing lure) so the wind spins them and scares the birds away. Or you can use the plastic shiny spinning wind catchers. Have also seen others use fishing line above the rails so that the birds can not land.
You may want to try a fake owl/hawk/cat that may work.
I can not think of any herb that would be potent enough to scare or ward off birds of any kind.
