My 9 year old daughter was complaning of chest pain and I took her to the ER there they found out that her BP was 212/193 they sent her with a Specialist and diagnost with High Blood pressure. They did several test (CT San, VUR Reflux test ect), the Reflux came back positive. It also showed that her right Kidney is smaller than the left (almost no kidney) they, at first thought her right kidney was so distroy because of the UTI’s she had, had in the past but then they said it’s because of her been born with a smaller kidney and then the UTI’s worsen it. She’s taking 4 medications a day for BP and for the UTI’s and we have to check her BP twice a day. The MD say’s she will have to take medication for the rest of her life. Is there anyone out there that had the same problem and now is not taking any medication? I would hate for my daughter to take medicine for the rest of her life being so young. Please help.
