Hello, I'm a 22 yr old college senior and my last period was on Nov 27th and today is Jan 2nd and my period is still not here. Going by 28 days, my period would be at least 7 days late today (possibly 9 days late) so I'm getting really worried. My boyfriend and I have used the pull-out method most of the time, but sometimes condoms. I know that was really dumb and we have discussed what we are not going to use the pull-out method as our only method again.
I have taken 7 home pregnancy tests (one for every day since my period was due between dec 27th-Jan 2nd) and all have come out negative. I used clearblue digital. I have had two stomach aches for only about a half hour or so (which may or may not be related) over the last week, also I feel as tho I had very light cramping as well. On Dec 30th when I went pee, I blotted with the toilet paper and there was a very small amount of blood. Since then there hasn't been anymore and I haven't gotten my period. My skin has been breaking out for the last week (which always happens the week I get my period) and I've been a bit edgy and a little more emotional than normal (which also happens a few days before I get my period typically). Also to add, my last period before the one on Nov 27th was Oct 30th, so that would be 28 days. In the past my period has been a couple days early or a couple days late, but I don't think it has ever been this late.
Also, from what I've been reading online, change in sleep patterns and added stress can affect your menstral cycle. I have had major changes in sleep and also some added stressors that began the week before my last period (week before thanksgiving).
Does anyone know how common it is to miss a period when you aren't pregnant? I've looked for this statistic online, and i guess it's because im a math major, if it's a greater number than I expected, it might set me at ease. But I have had no luck, so if anyone else has had a similar experience, that might set me at ease as well.
If anyone has any comments on the accuracy of clearblue digital / comments about any symtoms I've mentioned / or anything else they might want to add, it is greatly appreciated!!!!!
I made an appt to see a doctor and get a blood test, but they can't see me for 2 weeks and I'm going to go crazy between now and then.
I would love to have children someday, maybe 5 years or so from now ideally, but right now I'm hoping that those 7 tests have given me the correct results.

i've had way late periods but they always ended up coming. i know what you're going through...since you've taken sooo many tests already idk if you want to spend your money on anymore lol. but if you do, try other tests, like e.p.t., or whatever else is reliable these days... the blood test is probably your best bet though. im assuming that you've been going through finals and all so maybe stress screwed with your cycle... im a college student as well and it has affected my cycle quite a bit...and me and my bf do the pull-out method as well so i get where you're coming from. idk if this helped at all but if keep me updated. good luck!!!!!
