Hemorrhoidectomy my experience. .. on feb 27th 2015 1:25p-2:50p I woke up from surgery. I went to my dr to have my hemorrhoids removed i'am a 37 yr healthy woman no children due to my career I gotten them by standing since im a tech at a pharmacy. I was embarrassed and nervous but really didnt have no choice since I've been feeling pain and discomfort on my buttocks and thighs I felt the pressure I couldn't sit for periods of time which wasn't well for me since I love watching baseball games and going to them. I needed help asap so I had them removed so glad I did I had 2 skin tags, 1 external, 1 internal and my dr told me he took something that might have been cancerous I was scared and coming out of my sedation but reassured me the surgery was a success. Everyone was nice and had a pleasant experience during my stay. Nurse told me how to take care of my anus during the time of healing. Im a fast and careful healer so after i left i went to get my anti-botics, colace, pain meds. Im so thankful for the medication given me without them my experience would be like pouring salt to an open wound that drastic. I have to say that im on day 6 and I feel fine I bleed a bit when I B.M but its normal of course I had my first B.M on day 2 but no strain or pain my fiber intake made a major difference plus I drink kangen water. I cant sit yet i sit on my side on the couch or lay on my tummy. Sometimes the pain does come out of no where but i take my meds and relax. My B.M's arent painful anymore just uncomfortable of course just taking it one day at a time. My question for the veterans here when can I start working out and have no worries about the sweat or pain when I go to the gym? Im a gym rat I miss it or do I wait until im 100% healed.
