My brother is 21 years old and he has a sesame seed allergy. He avoids sesame and so far he did not have any problem. Anyway, I would like to know how to find out if I have the same allergy. And if I do, how can I avoid it? If I have an allergy reaction, is it sesame related or related to some other substance?

The easiest way would be for you to take the allergen test, which would show you if you have a sesame allergy or not. And you should also know that some allergies could be eliminated with the therapies that would include applying of the very small of the substance the patient is allergic to. In that way, the organism becomes more and more adjusted to the allergen up to the moment when there is no allergic reaction at all.
