Why do you want to close your account? Instead, you can anonymize your post(s) just by clicking on the flag icon in it and choosing option "anonymize".
If you still want to delete your account, you can do that by selecting your profile from the top right corner and from "edit profile" drop-down menu choose account settings. There you can choose between anonymization and deletion of your account.
But, if I may, what are the reason for that? You are very valuable part of our community and we will miss you. Can we do anything about that?

Hi , YOU can delete your account, your posts and do whatever you want, but what is done is done and GOD know already , AND, no matter what your church say, GOD is not spending time looking at your emails/messages . GOD dont need that to know if you're a good person. SO: move on my friend. live life , what is done is done.
You can change your life doing new things not tying to erase what you did and you didn;t do anything wrong in here :)
and... you are welcome to come back anytime and ask/talk about anything and maybe YOU can help some of the people in your church. You know, the ones whos too afraid to ask questions and end up in trouble cos of fear of being doing something wrong! :)
