Im 18 years old and I have a small yellow spot in the white part of my eye, the eye doctor told me it was like a freckle, but I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT, it almost touches my iris and it has completely ruined my life, Im so shy and have absolutely no eye contact with anybody, I DESPERATELY want to get rid of it!!!!! I have only heard of The Ibrite procedure but it scares me that I might go blind. I live in Port saint lucie Florida and I was wondering if there might me an eye doctor that can perform surgery on me that's near by and that isnt so expensive since I dont have a job do to no eye contact so my parents would pay for it if I can convince them. I have heard of a graft procedure in Jacksonville by a dr gulani buy the cost is 8k for one eye while ibrite is aroun 3-5k, PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME, tell me what is the safest surgery to get ,where it is performed the cost, and hopefully its somewhere near where I live, and hopefully someone that had a surgery done to them can tell me about it.

I wish you luck on finding an eye surgeon that can offer Ibrite procedure at a lower cost. It probably will not be much cheaper, however, being that it is a medical procedure. I don't know if there is a possibility, but maybe you can get eye contacts that could cover some of the freckle? I don't know how big of an area it is but I thought maybe if the contact's iris color was a little bigger, it would cover the freckly. I am trying to think of an inexpensive way for you to disguise it until you are able to have the Ibrite procedure. Good luck to you.
