What is HST? I have heard that it is some scientific approach to the muscle growth issue. So far I have only knew for hard workout and food supplements, but it looks like there is more to it then I have thought. Can you give me any explanation. I am 34 years old and still hunger for new ways to improve my body. Thanks.

HST stands for hypertrophy specific training. It is based on principles of natural, physiological muscle hypertrophy. Let me give you the four basic HST principles: 1. Mechanical load, 2. Acute vs. Chronic Stimuli, 3. Progressive Load, 4. Strategic deconditioning. All of these might sound not that understandable, but it all comes down to creating a program that utilizes natural bodys processes of muscle growth and intensifies them. Look up for that program on the internet; you will see that it is similar but still different from those you are used to.
