not everyone bleeds the first time they have sex. Most do experience pain though.
If you feel that what happened wasn't sex then it wasn't, plain and simple. You thought you were ready and then decided you weren't plenty of girls do this. What causes you to not be a virgin anymore is your hymen breaking, if there was no pain, then your hymen most likely wasn't broken... especially if only a little went in. Personally I wouldn't even consider that sex and i am not a virgin.
