How long have you been trying to get pregnant?

What are your periods like (frequency etc)?

Were you on the pill before you started trying?

Have either you been pregnant before?

Has your partner ever made someone pregnant before?

Mia - if you have been having sex for 7 years without protection and haven't got pregnant, it seems likely there is some sort of fertility problem with one or both of you. If your periods are irregular, it may be that you are not ovulating. Also, of course, your partner may have a low sperm count. Both of these problems are fairly easy to diagnose - treatment would depend on what the problem turns out to be. I think the best bet is for both of you to go and see your doctor and ask if he/she can arrange the tests.

Have you ever used protection like the pill, deprovera shot or implant? This can temporarily affect your fertility. Have you been trying for 7 years?

It could be any number of reasons that relate to either yourself or your boyfriend. If you have been trying for longer than a year than you can get tests done to find out for you and your boyfriend.
