I keep having the same problem that is killing me.  I was feeling much better two months ago when it comes to my anxiety. But in the last couple of days (almost a month to be precise) this started to be very annoying and I feel anxious all the time.

I just don't know what is going on and I really don't know what to do. So I started to think a lot about it, and I am wondering the same question all the time -what if it never goes away?

Sometimes it really seems that it won't go away and that makes even more pressure than before.

I was wondering exactly the same question - what if my anxiety never goes away and is this even possible? Actually, I believe that a lot of patients wants to know exactly the same thing. I really don't know what is your case, but I need to tell you that the answer on your question is definitely yes. It can happen that anxiety won't go away, but that usually happens to a patients who don't want any therapy and who don't have a little patience for the recovery. This really requires a little patient. Do you receive any type of the treatments? How often do you go to your doctor? That is very important because some people won't go visit their doctor anymore because they believe that it won't help them...Nothing can happen over a night...

I do understand that maybe I have created a bigger problem for me as well. Yes, I have expected that my anxiety will go away after a couple of months, after that for couple of years but it won't go away and that makes me even worse. Yes, I do know that this won't go over a night, but this last very long.

I went to see my doctor maybe two months ago, but not anymore after this. I am still taking some medicines but it seems that they are not helpful at all.

That is why I am really scared.

You mean my anxiety is killing me? Do you really think that this is that serious? I am dealing with it for a couple of years and I was almost sure that I do know a lot about it, almost everything but when I saw that I can't help myself anymore I started to be even worse. What kind of videos? What methods? I never have heard about this and no one told me about this. I didn't even try to seek for some motivational videos. Anyway, I am not sure how this can help me with my issue? And I already told up there that I went to see the doctor a couple of months ago, but now I am refusing it because I think that it won't help me...

As you can see, her problem is much bigger and I don't want to scare you, but I have a feeling that somehow you are giving up to axniety and that you don't have a will to fight it. I think that this person meant that anxiety is not literally going to kill you, but it is going to destroy your life in that way that you won't be able to enjoy it or live properly.

Don't let them scare you, anxiety won't last forever, but you should really do something about it because it can definitely prolong for years. Try and search for those anxiety relief techniques that they told you about, talk eyes to eyes with someone who was suffering from anxiety and who managed to win this fight so that he or she could give you some advice.

No way that anxiety could last forever but if you don't treat it, it can last for a lot of time and you shouldn't really allow yourself to suffer from anxiety for too long because you would just waste some years of your life, that is totally unnecessary since anxiety can be treated. It might not be easy, but, well, you have to try hard in order to overcome this and feel better. You can make it, it is important that you believe in yourself and if you do not believe in yourself, it is important that you keep someone who does believe in you close to you.

I think that you are wrong, Nina, anxiety can last for a lifetime if you get in it too deep, especially if you are not doing anything to treat this and to learn how to cope with it. You are right that she should definitely do something about it if she wants to feel better but the problem with people who are suffering from anxiety, especially if it is severe anxiety, is that they do not really want to do anything, they don't see the point of doing anything so they just want their anxiety to go away on its own.

My cousin killed himself because he was suffering from depression, he left a note in which he wrote about his feelings and stuff. We weren't too close so I don't want anybody to feel bad about him or me or anything like that, I am just trying to make a point here and my point is next: if you leave everything like this, if you don't do anything about your anxiety, your anxiety can turn into severe anxiety, then your severe anxiety can lead you to being depressed, depression can cause suicidal thoughts and if you end up with severe depression, you could actually harm yourself.
