First off, I haven'ty had my period since last November, and it's now June. I suspected pregnancy from the begining. I've had all the symptoms. My belly is getting bigger by the week. I even started feeling movements in my belly what feels like little kicks. So I finally went to the doctor in April and got a pregnancy test. It came back negative. I was also tested for STD's, nothing. The doctors couldn't find anything wrong with me. So they gave me a vaginal ultrasound this June and still didn't find anything. Now I'm confused! I've had a period for eight years now, and this has never happen. Is it possible to miss a 7-month-old baby on a vaginal ultrasound? Is there anybody with a similar problem? Or anyone with advice? Please...

Are you wanting to be pregnant? There is such a thing as phantom pregnancy, where basically your mind tricks your body into believein that it is pregnant. Missed periods, tender breasts, nausea, quickening and the belly even becomes extended. Some women have even gone so far as to have false labor.

There is no way that an ultrasound could "miss" a 7 month fetus. I'm guessing you are either wanting to be pregnant or so terrified of being pregnant that you tricked yourself into thinking you truly are. Or you have some other medical issue. You should definitley see a doctor.
