I have a lump on my inner thigh and it is painful and irritating. It just appeared overnight and can not figure out what it is. The lump is hard and a little red on top but has no sign of puss in it. When I try to squeeze the area it just feels hard and nothing happens except pain. This is near an area where my boxer briefs come and irritate all the time and I work as a server so I get the occasional jock itch, could that have something to do with it.
