I have a sharp pain under my belly button. Is this food poisoning from something I ate. This is the only symtom. :-) :-)

Hi,

It is hard to tell if it is food poisoning or something else based on the little information you have provided.

First of all if you are female it could be that you need to get your period and if you suffering from a cold this usually manifests trough the sharp pain under belly button. It will be painful so you need to keep yourself warm and drink some tea that will keep your stomach warm inside.

If you are a man than it could be that your stomach is upset because of the something you have ate especially if you have sensitive stomach. If this pain doesn’t go away on its own or if you develop some other symptoms, such as vomiting and high fever, then you should consult your doctor.
