Hi, I am 31 years old and I will become a mother in exactly three months. Even though everything is fine, I am getting more and more worried each day. This is due to the fact that I have breast implants. Can I breastfeed? I am afraid to even ask my doctor about it, I cannot hear the answer no.

Hmm, it does depend a lot on the location of the breasts. If it is near the armpits, then it should be ok. But if it is near the nipples, there might be a chance that nerves and gland ducts that are needed for a proper breastfeeding might be damaged. And if you can breastfeed, you can be sure that there is no way for the implant fluid to enter the milk.
