It could be a few things that's caused it to be late. How old are you and are you sexual active?

Are you not using protection when being sexually active, meaning is their a chance of a pregnancy scare? It wouldn't be too early to buy a home pregnancy test from a drug store and using your very first wake-up pee (morning pee) for the most accurate result will tell you if you are pregnant or not. If that is the concern or not.
Were you a virgin before being sexually active this last time, as that also affects the timing of your period?
Your age, are you still in high school? If so, you are coming up or just finished very stressful exams. Stress plays a big part in a females period and can cause delays and mimic pregnancy symptoms as well (which sucks for us).

No I don't use protection. yes I was a virgin before being sexually active. last month my period came two or three days late. Also I'm still in high school and my final exams are going to coming up soon.

Hi, as lizzardqueen said it can be anyone of those reasons why your period is late as they all can cause delays, if you don't want to get pregnant or get and STI/STD I will advise you to use condoms when your having intercourse.

You must be from the States (I live in Canada). Here in Canada we can go to any grocery store, Walmart or drug store at any age and buy condoms as long as you have the money for the purchase - I even think that 7-11's carry them too. So in the States I'm not sure, sorry I cannot help.
You say you are in school, what about the guidance counsellor? Do they keep condoms on supply although you need to see them before they hand you a condom? Or, you talk to your mom/parents about the fact you are ready/responsible about being sexually active and you don't want to make them grandparents yet and you are not ready to be a parent yourself yet at this age. You'd be surprised at the response you'll get from them instead of anger, yes you may get shock but you'll get the wow, you told me that's amazing you shared with us.
Worth thinking about (obviously I'm a parent too). Hope this helps! And, just to put some fears at rest - from you're one sexual experience without a condom I'll say it's unlikely that you'll get pregnant (you might of course, always a chance) but it takes the right circumstance. It took me MANY years to get pregnant even though I had many opportunities that I should have over and over gotten pregnant as I had sex without protection a lot in my younger years.
