And i have been having sex with my boyfriend of 1 year and 3 months, we have been using condoms but im scared that i still may get pregnant.... I dont want kids at a young age but i dont want to stop having sex so i was to know how old do you need to be to get birth control and go to the doctors without your parents knowing or going with u P.s i really dont want a kid at a young age and i know u will say "stop having sex" but i love my boyfriend with all my heart and i dont want to stop cause i like it and i love making love with him.

I'm from the United Kingdoms (UK), so things here might be different to where you live, if you live somewhere else.  Before I answer your question, here's a few tips for using a condom just in case you didn't know!  Check the back of the condom packet, it'll have a date on.  Don't use out-of-date condoms :P  When you take the condom out, check it for lil' holes, there probably won't be one but it's worth looking, just in case.  Also, make sure he puts them on correctly :P  If you do these three things, condoms alone should be MORE than enough to stop you becoming pregnant.

Now, if you're really scared about becoming pregnant, you can go "Double Dutch."  What that means is you can take The Pill, AND use a condom, so if a condom breaks or something goes wrong, your pill will stop anything bad happening :)

So far as I'm aware, your Doctor must maintain confidentiality.  In other words, he can NOT tell your parents ANYTHING about your visits, even if they amrch into his office and demand him to.  The only times a doctor can tell your parents, your legal guardian, or ANYONE about what you talk about, is when it's a direct threat to your life or someone elses (If you've thinking of commiting suicide and want anti-depressents, for example).

So even if your doctor turns you down, he won't tell your parents.  Go and make an appointment whenever you like, just walk up to the reception desk at your doctors and say "Hi, could i make an appointment please?"  They'll ask for your full name, then will check to make sure you're on their system.  You need to go to the doctors your parents go to, as they'll have your family on their system and you can make an appointment with them.  This is to stop someone from another town just walking in and getting an appointment.  You don't need to specify why you want an appointment, and if they ask, just tell them it's private.

On the day of your appointment, tell your parents you're going on a walk, or come up with some excuse that's believable.  The appointment won't take much more than 20 minutes at most.  Now I'm a guy, so I've never actually goen to ask for the Pill, but I just asked my girlfriend and here's what she said:

"asked what i'm alergic to and checked my heart, pulse and blood preasure"

So...  Yeah.  They'll ask if you've any allergies, and probably check your blood pressure.  This is just because there are different brands of Pill, so you might be allergic to one type but not another.  Even if you're under aged (Under 16 in most of Europe, or under 18 in America), the doctor will still more than likely give you the Pill.  It's normal to be embaressed, but just be honest - Tell him you and your boyfriend are active, but you're worried about becoming pregnant, so you want the added protection of the Pill on top of condoms :)

As I said - Even if he turns you down, they can't go and tell your parents, it's against the law.  Or it SHOULD be, at least.  Hope I've helped, just reply if you've any more questions, I'll be looming for a few hours :)
