I was told that I had a polyp with displasia, whaat does that mean?

Hi George,

Displasia is basically a "pre-cancerous" state. Your doctor found some "changes" in the tissues.

I would recommend you discuss this with him/her.

Treatment options include both monitoring it OR removing the polyp. Again, your surgeon should discuss this with you. They saw the polyp, we didn't.

It does not mean that you have cancer.
