My daughter has been experiencing this for two months now. After the first week she was admitted to the hospital and they ran some test. After some test they discovered her gall bladder was not working so they removed it. She has now been out of the hospital for 6 weeks and contiues to vomit after she eats. No matter how small or large or what it is she eats she vomits. Sometimes even liquids will not stay down. She is 14 and has lost over 20 pounds in two months. I am so worried about her and the doctors are sending her to an eating disorder clinic. However, I do not believe that is the problem. At this point though I am willing to do whatever it takes to get her better. She was an extremely healthy active 14 year old and this has turned her life upside down. I am considering taking her to the Cleveland Clinic to see what they can figure out. There is comfort knowing there are others having the same issue but it is saddening to know that no one seems to have the answers and all are still suffering and just accepting this as their way of life.
