Throwing up on your period.Is this healthy!?

Every month on my first day of my period I feel so very sick!I cant eat cuz then ill throw up.And my stummic hurts SOO bad!I know that women have cramps and blotting and all that, but is it healthy to throw up??And i throw up mostly evrytime im on my period.

I have the same problem. On the first day of my period I cramp so bad it brings me to tears. I can't hardly keep any food down either. Normally throwing up at least twice. Normally I am fine by the second day though. Is this normal ir even healthy to throw up like this?

i have to stay home from school because when i get it i throw up even with out eating that is not normal :(

wow i have the same problem. for at least 36 hours straight im in complete agony. no matter which way i twist or turn my cramps are excrutiating. anything i eat or drink comes up until my stomachs empty. Any drugs i take or even water theres no chance it will stay down. Im trying to convince my mother that birth control will change my symptoms because my cousin has used it and has changed her syptoms dramatically. I hope you've found a solution because i know how much it sucks.

It does happen that you can throw up on your period if the pain is intense. Have you ever taken birth control pills at all? They can help regulate the strength of your period if you take them. Have you considerd it?

if you do go see your doctor for birth control get your iron checked my sister used to vomit and get really bad cramps she got better after taking iron to boost her levels it worked for her maybe you have the same problem.

I have kind of the same thing I have been on the pill already to help with my period. I have not been on it for abaout a year and I have been fine till the last three months I have been getting worse cramps every time, today I stayed home from school I could hardly walk I cant really feel my legs,my cramps make me cry they are so bad on a scal 1-10 they are about a 9 1/2, I also feel like throwing up,i feel so confused and im very tired, i have dirigh. I am kind of having some lower back pain any ideas on what this could be or if I should see a dr. ?

you should go to the doctor they will switch your birth control to one with different levels of hormones

thanks. I just dont want to get on the pill it made me gain alot of weight. but thanks ill talk to my mom

actually if it the right one for you it shouldn't make you gain to much weight only some cause you to gain weight also I found the 28 day pill made me gain weight but 21 day did cause I dont take the sugar pills and there are a lot of sugar in those pills

I have taken two one was a low something and the other one was yaz. but they both made me want sweets more then ever I had craving for chocolate every single day.

I've had the same problem for years myself. My doctor put me on birth control pills and it stopped all together. She told me that was just my body reacting to all the hormone changes and everything else.

I would have the same problem. I would lock up im my room curled up in bed in pain. Back in highschool I would donate blood but I would get rejected because my iron was too low. It was so low the nurse gave me a paper with foods that had iron and 'suggested' i get my iron up. When I did it helped my craps a whole lot. maybe it would help some of you.

no i never took birth control but i threw up twice on the first day n i had that problem before but never actually threw up kan somebody tell me something?
