I use an implanon implant but im bleeding during sex with my partner, is this a normal side-effect?

I have the inplanon for one mouth I had a regular period then I stop a week later I started bleeding when me and my husband and sex it been on and off I hate this what can I do

Im having the same problem. I keep thinking about having it out. I bled non stop for 8 months with it then it stopped and just comes and goes as it feels. It can be gone i will have sex and then the next day the bleeding is back

I have had the implant in for over a year nearly two and I had periods at times and could go months again without one but lately I do bleed a lot and especially during after intercourse I did go to the nurse de said its normal is it though??

I just went to the Doctor for this reason - she reckons its endometrial bleeding - basically a build up of the lining that is typically shed during normal menstruation. Also it says on the packet to go to the doctor if you are bleeding after sex. She has suggested going on the pill for a few months to sort things out - saying this is a normal treatment to see if it settles things down again. Personally, its a great excuse for me to get the implanon out.

This stupid birth control is seriously annoying my boyfriend gets worried because I don't have sex with him as I often did before. But every time we have sex it's like wait did I bleed on you I don't feel normal at all I've had this birth control in for a year already .
