I am very concerned. I was found the faulty Huntigton gene, will I necessarily develop the disease? I was afraid even to think about the possible outcomes if I really do develop this illness. I am so afraid, doctors are not that reluctant to say exactly what will happen to me. Can you?

This disease is hereditary, through the dominant gene on chromosome 4. As the book says, there is a great possibility that this gene will become active and therefore, the disease will emerge. Still, there are known rare cases of people carriers in whom the illness never occurred. I do hope that you are one of them.
