It's not just about the physical withdrawls depending on how long you used, how much, and in what way eating pills, sniffing or shooting depends on how long it will take your brian to get back to normal the Suboxone help get off and not have physical withdrawls but i stoped taking it to soon and i went thru the acute withdrawls stage where you don't want to do any just bumping you arm hurt way more than it should being in a bad mood all the time. you brain produces a natural opiate called dopamine and the longer and the more you use the long it takes to start producing it again it could take weeks, months, or years. For 6 months i did nothing but go to work M-F come home and sit on the couch watching TV and sat on the couch all weekend didn't do sh*t wouldn't even talk on the phone. the whole time i was using i thought i would just go thur the week of physical withdrawls and then be back to normal boy was i suprised i wish I would have read all this sh*t before i used for 2yrs it really messes up your brain. But the Suboxone helps with all that and the withdrawls are nothing like OC's or Heroin. Everyone i know took it to get off. Methodone is just replacing one drug for another it doesn't really help. Good luck to everyone.
