I feel always tired. Why is that? I eat normally and I am taking vitamins. I can’t say I work more much, but I am tired all the time. What should I do about it? I have tried with sleeping. I sleep 10hours each day, but yet I am tired again when I get up.

I am tired is the most common health complaint of adults of both sexes. Everyone is tired now and then, and the reason are usually: you may not have been sleeping well because you're depressed, anxious, have a large prostate that makes nature call too often, or are
taking caffeine or some medication that keeps you awake. Are you taking a medication that sedates you during the day, such as a tranquilizer, a blood-pressure-lowering drug or a painkiller? You need to identify the problem - whatever it is- and correct it, your energy will return.

For me, my being tired and being so young just seemed like it must be stress.
I found out after much work investigating and doing the process of elimination from different websites like webmd and mayoclinic, that it could be my heart.
It was my aortic heart valve. However it was damaged -genetics, birth? It was only letting less than 50% of the blood passing through it to go up to my brain. The rest was going back through the opened valve. And I was truly at risk for drowning in my own blood going backward into my lungs.
For my Dad, he was as tired when he woke as before he went to sleep.
He went to a sleep clinic. The reason he didn't get sleep correctly is his body knew if he went into the REM cycle, he didn't have the oxygen to come back awake and he could have died in his sleep.
He just got his mask, etc, and at 74 he said he gets up at 5:00 feeling like a new person ready to go and start the day and keeps working with energy that he's missed for years.
If you're tired. Your body is telling you something. Don't wait. Get to the bottom of it.
It could be minor, YOU know your body better than anyone or any DOCTOR.
Look and pray for the answer.
Just don't ignore it, please.

I feel and look so tired throughout summer. Is this as a result of my sleeping pattern or what?
