I am experiencing a very bad yeast infection, which hasn't gone away yet.
It's been 5 days now, and took a diflucan 3 days ago.
While I'm experiencing this, I've noticed I am very sore, red and itchy on on both innner sides of my labia minora. I am a bit worried. I rarely get yeast infections. (at least this bad) and I am new into a relationship.
I felt this coming on after the third time being intimate with him. I don't believe it's from him, but I'm wondering. Can anyone help me?

Thanks
Susu

Were you diagnosed with Candidiasis by a clinician or did you come to that conclusion by yourself? Bacterial infections cause similar symptoms but won't respond to fluconazole, and they are about twice as common. A competent clinician can differentiate between them, but self-diagnoses are mistaken more often than not.
