I'm 13 years old and about two years ago (I think) I had this browny red vaginal discharge come out and I havent had it come back until about 3 or 4 months ago and it was more brown than red that time. I'm kinda worried that there's something wrong because my mom had period problems, she got her period for 3 weeks and it stopped for 1 week-the complete opposite of what it's supposed to be. I'm kinda freaking out here and I masturbate almost every day and have been for about a year and I'm kinda wondering if that might be affecting it? Have you had regular periods already in between this time? If not, this is your body preparing to get its period. Always be prepared by carrying a pad with you in your purse or backpack, you don't want to be caught in an embarrassing situation and left walking home with a red stain in between your legs.
On to the other. Masturbating doesn't cause discharge like this. Another question. Are you still a virgin? If not, have you had sex recently like within the last 3 - 4 weeks? If you did, did you use protection? If not, get a pregnancy test.
