I'm on birthcontrol but it's not the right strength and my period is very random never on time or on a constant schedule I guess you could say. I had sex with my boyfriend on 4-27-13 and we didn't use a condom and he finished inside of me, two days after I had my period for an hour very lightly. How do I know when I can take a test when I don't have a regular period and I haven't had one yet. I have been getting sick after eating certain things as well as my breasts are really tender and I've been exhausted... Someone help!

If your birth control is not the right strength I would doubt you are pregnant but there is a possibility but no matter what you need to see your doctor about the right birth control for you. There are many options out there and as you age you do produce different hormones, as in less or more so you may need a higher or lower strength. Now for the possible pregnancy, a general rule of thumb is 3 - 4 weeks after sex is when you can test for pregnancy or around the time of your period. Make sure you use your first pee of the day for an accurate result.
Hope this helps

If your doctor is blowing you off then it is time for a new doctor and one that listens to you and your health concerns. Not wise for a doctor to be doing this to a patient. Where do you live?

Good job! My sister and bro-in-law live there and my sister is an OR nurse if you ever need to know a good place I can hook you up with a good doctors clinic or hospital. My bro-in-law is a Radiologist Tech.
