I had the implanon removed after 3 years and 5 days. I have never been regular. I did not have a period for about 5 months and when it came on it lasted for a month in a half and when it left I got pregnant. I got on the implanon after the my baby. i had it removed September 1, 2010 and still did not have a period so the doctor put me on birth control pills to try to get me regular but i told her that my period is going to stop when the pills are gone. It is the only way for me to have a regular cycle. I am wanting to conceive this month but she is saying try the pills for 2 months first. I am not sure what to do now. This is confusing. Is it possible for me to still get pregnant after i take the required birth control for 2 months. I do not know what to do. I feel it defeat the purpose of trying to get pregnant if I take birth control cause I feel she could have just gave me some non birth control pill to bring my cycle on. What should I do. I want to have another baby and I would like to try before December. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

i would do the birth control for 2 months to try to get your period to come back because without a period its hard for you to get pregnant. its only 2 mor months of waiting so if i were you i would try the pills it make regulate your hormones and you may get your period then just have lots of sex have sex ever 2 days after getting off your period and you will most likely conceive. good luck.
