s to settle doen but I decided to have it onth
Hi there, I had the same thing and my doctor also told me the same. It can affect women this way and cause irregular bleeding. Mine was very heavy every two weeks and I bled for a week each time. I had it in for 3 months and was told to give it another 3 months to settle down. I decided to have it removed as I was feeling like I had an iron deficiency, this wasn't confirmed but it felt like it. I had it removed 3 weeks ago and I have not had any more bleeding.
If you are happy to suffer with irregular bleeding then it might be worth trying to give it a while to settle down (better that then unwanted pregnancy). Good luck..oh and I wouldn't wear light coloured bottoms any more:-) not for a while yet anyway!!
