I had the implanom inserted in June 2011, it comes out next year. I will be getting another one inserted afterwards because it is the only contraception that has worked for me. My weight used to be between 56kgs - 58kgs, after I had it inserted I noticed clothes were getting tighter and then I weighed myself and I had went up to 67kgs! I was shocked, my confidence had left me. I have been taking Magnesium tablets, they have gotten me down to 6kgs but it is a struggle. I do plenty of exercise and eat right but I don't understand how does the implanon cause weight gain? Drs haven't been much help, does it slow the metabalisim?

Can I use relislim tabs while I am on Implanon? I inserted an Implanon and I have gained 8 kg since then. Will I shed some weight off?
