Its really hard to say when implantation can occure yes most people say that it can take 6 to 10 days as well, also they may have ovulated sooner then they think, maybe to the sperm caught the egg comeing down the tubes then it may take less time for implantaion to occure...Most people do experiance implantation bleeding while other do not, every one is different on how there bodies work...As for those arguing on here maybe there not for sure when they ovulated and they are guesing on how many days it has been..Sperm can live inside a womens body anywhere from 3 to 7 days..You can even become pregnant while you are on your period.. All im saying is that everyone is different and anything is possible..There is no need to argue on here just get a third opion from someone else if you dont like what anyone has told you....Will be waiting on the replys!!! Ok, you know what I have done my research, as a matter of fact I have been to school for nursing and finished at the top of the class..I didnt say that everyone experiances it..Read my post!!! Everyone is different on how there body reacts and that this can be a sign as well along with the other syptoms..So drop it this is not a place for people to come on here and argue about whats what..Like I said if you dont like what one has wrote then get another opion thats all....Leave it alone...

I just wanted to add that you can also have a tinge of blood from ovulation and we tend to tune in more and notice everything going on with our bodies when we are trying to get pregnant :-)

Sweetie, not too many things are impossible when it comes to the human body. Just because YOU didn't read it, witness it, experience it, or hear of it before doesn't mean that it doesn't happen. No matter what science reveals there's always an exception...as you can see from one of the other posts. Every single reproductive phase can vary in length etc. for each woman. So why would the implantation portion be any different?

Since this post seems most active - i need some input b/c i have a slightly similar question but VERY odd symptoms. I had my period (first after giving birth in September) from Feb 27-Mar 6. Almost daily sex w/ husband. After the period i had slight brown spotting. This brown spotting has lasted basically off and on till present day (Mar20). Yesterday i recognized some of the pressure and cramping from my 1st pregnancy so i took a pregnancy test - result Positive. I can not get in to see a doctor for 2 weeks. Does this sound extremely worrisome? Miscarriage? Extra long implant bleeding considering i seem to have conceived while on/around my period? Any thoughts?

This is my first post here. I am glad to have found this board. Sometimes you feel like the only one who wants answers the second that you think you are pregnant. Waiting is the hardest part for me. I am 36 years old.The biological clock is ticking. I have had several miscarriages,probably related to a horrible fist marriage. I am with a new man for 5 years and i think I may be pregnant. My cycles are 25 days long.I ovulated on day 11 according to my clearblue fertility monitor. We had sex everyday from day 8 to day 14. On day 16 of my cycle I had terrible mid-abdominal cramping that passed in several hours.No bleeding.Yesterday and today I have nausea that comes and goes,very sore breasts for the last 4 days.They also feel bigger and my bra is tight.A little tired.I took a test. BFN. AF is due on 4/25. I have also been taking prenatals and mucinex on the fertile days. Has anyone had a similar experience with cramping and early symptoms or am I just going crazy because I am wishing to be pregnant? I wish everyone the best and positive thoughts.

I have been ttc with my husband for nearly 3 years. We have both had all the tests done and they cant find anything wrong with either of us.
My doctor labelled me "unexplained infertility". I am due to start Clomid if my period shows this month, but we thought we would give it one more try naturally before i start any treatment!
My last period was 18th April (28-30 day cycle) . We also ttc/BD 3 days before if that counts?..
So this month we ttc/BD on CD9, CD12 but stopped half way through, and again CD14. I noticed i got a little red spotting on CD11 and lots of stringy discharge and wondered if i ovulated slightly earlier.
However the spotting stopped and then appeared again on CD13 again just a tinge then nothing. Then CD 17 which puts me on 3-4 dpo if i ovulated on the 14th as usual, i had lots of brown and red spotting that lasted for 5 days and quite a bit of it but again not bleeding just lots of red and brown discharge. I never had this before and wondered if this was implantation bleeding but was unsure as it was so early.
im a day away now from my period being due and have already tested 4 days ago but neg with First responce. I have lots of symtoms but again i have them when period is due anyway. Not sure what to think or is it another no luck cycle :-(....any info would be great just need someone to unload to.

Hi- I am on this site with the same question. I have some brownish bleeding- very slight, just on the toilet paper, and some mild cramping. We had sex only four days ago. I am also wondering if this could be implantation bleeding- I got one reply saying that it can happen as early as three day post ovulation
