I have been taking indomethacin for gout pains, and I just wanted to share how great it has been for me. I know that medication is not for everyone, and indomethacin does not actually make the uric acid levels come down. But it did reduce the swelling, making the pain I was in before a lot less. Overall, I feel a lot better!

I am happy that you feel so much better! I have also heard that indomethacin is great for gout. It is normally called indocin, am I not right? I think that indomethacin must be the scientific term, for it. Is there anything else you are doing in combination with the indomethacin to reduce the nasty pain that gout was causing you?
