I have been getting this pain on and off since April. At first it started out kind of intense and went away after a half hour or so. Now it lasts for hours and I cannot take it anymore!

It starts in the center right below my sternum. The pain is SO intense, I do not even know how to describe it. It wraps around to my back. If you touch my back during this, I yelp in pain. It seems more focused on my right side. I become super warm, unable to stay still unless I feel some sort of relief. When I breathe in and hold it, it offers release, but then returns as soon as I start breathing again. Sometimes it hurts to breathe, almost like I cannot breathe at all. This past month when I get the pain, I feel like I have to throw up, like the pain forces me. I threw up two separate times because of it, and I would have yesterday, but there was nothing in my system. Yesterday when I got it again, I lied down and arched my back, that helped it so much!

It happens at night or early morning. I have been keeping a diary of my food intake and what I am doing when it happens, but nothing is connecting.

In 2009 I was in a car accident and my sternum was really bruised. I read somewhere on the internet that someone had similar pain because of an accident. That was three years ago though and I just started getting that intense pain this past April 2012.

I have not been to a doctor yet, waiting to get some kind of health insurance. The only other thing I have wrong is that I get really bad headaches/migraines and I have MS. My dad had an aorta dissection last May 2011, so I have been worried it is a heart condition, but my blood pressure is always normal when I get it checked (my sister checks it since she is studying to become a nurse and needs practice).

Any input is greatly appreciated, I just need some idea of what I am dealing with.

Thanks!!!! :-D
