first of all - i am new here. and excited to be here. i promise to never become one of those people who posts, gets an answer, and then leaves. my husband is deployed - and i enjoy helping people out. but, for now, i DO have a question.... maybe some of you can help? before you tell me: "go see a doctor" - know that i am actually looking for someone who may have been through this OR has heard of it. either way, any advice is definitely welcome.
I am 30 years old and have always had irregular periods. I suffer from panic attacks and was diagnosed with white coat syndrome 2 years ago. I have a question regarding vaginal bleeding that I've been having as of late. 2012: I had no periods. Light spotting once in a while - but nothing regular. MARCH 2013: Period for 6-7 days [normal flow] APRIL 2013: Light spotting for 3-4 days [pink/brown tint] MAY 2013: Period for 6-7 days [normal flow] JUNE 2013: No period at all, nor any spotting. JULY 2013: Very start of the month, light spotting, orangish/pink/brown tint, and only when I wiped myself. It never got on a pad, just tissue when I wiped. ALSO, I instered a tampon to make sure it was, indeed, vaginal bleeding. And there was light red/pink on the tampon. So, I do know it's vaginally. MY MAIN CONCERN: I have spotted in the past before, but only for 3-4 days at the most. This started July 4th, and here it is July 13th. The spotting doesn't occur all day long. IN FACT, it only goes on after a "hard" bowel movement. In the morning, I will urinate and wipe - nothing there. 2pm rolls around and I have a "hard" bowel movement - and there is blood from my vagina. I know it isn't hemmrhoids or from my rectum, because I insterted a tampon vaginally to test to see where it was coming from. If you need anymore information, let me know. I understand that I need to go see a doctor. But with my husband deployed [which also means there is no way I can be pregnant, and yes I took tests to be on the safe side] and no family here where we're stationed, I would like to wait until he returns home in a couple of months, so that someone is there with me, due to my panic attacks. Any information you WILL ease my mind. No cramps, no pain, no burning when I urinate. I don't drink anything BUT water [because of my panic attacks] and I'm not on any birth control.
