Hi, beginning about 2 weeks ago i began to have a strange rash on my lower stomach near my penis and around my groin.  At first it was small red bumps or patches, and has since then turned into pinkish red spots.  At first they did not hurt or itch but after about 4 days they started to feel very uncomfortable,  it started to itch about a week into the rash, but only for a day and the itching was not unbearable.  After the first week, the very tip of my penis started to feel itchy and irritated also.  Although, there are not any bumps or any red marks where the discomfort is coming from on my penis. It has created the feeling that i have to go to the bathroom when i really don't, or that i feel like i am ready to pee at almost anytime.  It also hurts or burns when i touch the tiny area that is irritated at the top. I have not had a sexual encounter of any kind in at least 6 months and this only started when the rash appeared.  I went to the ER after 1 week and they told me that I had Follicalitis, they prescribed me Keflex and said I should be better after a week.  I took the keflex 500mg, 4 times a day, with no significant change, and returned the the ER on monday night (went on the prior thursday).  A second MD looked at it and told me that I had Jock Itch, offered an std test but advised against it because he stated that the timeframe, lack of activity, and the appearance of the rash looked nothing like an std.  He prescribed me a steroid cream (Clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropionate).  I got the cream filled, continued to take the Keflex, and started applying the cream.  By wensday the rash started to clear up a little bit, the top of my penis still felt kind of irrated though, but i did not know if it was the keflex working or the steroid cream.  I ran out of keflex that day and the rash coming back on thursday while still using the cream.  Around wensday my anus started to itch a small bit and feel uncomfortable also, also it felt moist down there at times and still does. Today, Friday, I went to a Dermatologist for the issue, he looked at the rash, said that he did not see any infection and everything was fine.  I tried explaining that i went to the ER and had discomfort but he pretty much interrupted me to say he didn't see anything and it was fine.  I really do not know who I should see or what kind of doctor I should go to next, but all the medical bills and no answers is causing a serious problem, I need this issue adressed because it is very hard to focus on any school work or activities because of discomfort and fear.
