is flagystatin safe to use during pregnancy?

I'm 11 weeks pregnant and my OB prescribed me flagystatin. I've read on the internet that this medicine should not be used during the first trimester of the pregnancy so I had a doubt. I bought the medicine but still haven't tried coz I'm scared what side effects it may bring to me and my baby. Please help me. :(

Doctors do not use Flagyl in first trimester (first 3 months) after that it is okay. So if you are more than 3 months pregnant, it is safe to use. The statin is for yeast. Flagyl is used for trichomonas primarily. So, this all depends on how far along you are.
