Hi, I am preparing, in last few days, to start working out. I gained few extra pounds lately, so I am not satisfied with my look. Anyway I am determined to get shaped my figure but I don't know if it is better to work out alone or with my friends?
Problem is that my friends already worked out for several months and they are in better shape than me. I don't know if I will be able to work out with same intensity like they do?

Hi, basic idea of any kind of work out is to find level of intensity which is most suitable for you. You don't need to compete with your friends especially not when you are at beginning of your training process. Therefore you need to find out what is the best for your body. Your body is different than any other and you have to learn to listen to it.
Some people can work out longer, harder while the others may injure themselves with same exercises.
On the other hand, it is better to work out with your friends as they may show you how to maintain some exercises in the right way and give you some good suggestions as they have more experience than you do.
Conclusion would be that it is better to work out with your friends and take some advices from them, but do not compete until your body becomes stronger.
