I have had the marena IUD for three years now, and have loved it this whole time. Just recently, I've had four bladder infections in a row after not having any ever in my life. I have gotten antibiotics every time, and during the time in which I take them, the pain goes away. Then the bladder infections returns again two days later. My breasts are incredibly swollen and tender (have been for over a week now), sex is excruciatingly painful, and my face has broken out with pimples that I never ever get. I have read that this could possibly be because of my IUD.... has anyone experienced the same symptoms?

I have not experienced the same symptoms but an ex-girlfriend of mine has and I can tell you that it's probably the cause of your bladder infections. Is there any way you could try a different birth control for a bit to rule that out as a potential issue?
