Just curious why you're asking. Did you or he notice it wasn't there? I hope it's not important to either of you.
There are so many ways and reasons for not having a hymen that it's not a very good indicator of virginity. Or rather I should say the lack of it is not a very good indicator of NON virginity.
Sports is a very common way of destroying it, but it's also possible that you never had one. Or that it was so flimsy that you couldn't tell it was there when you had sex.
As far as I was concerned the previous sex life of my girl and now my wife is none of my business anyway. For all practical purposes she's a virgin to me. And why is it so important anyway?

Well Njoynlife, the reason why its so important to me is that I'm having my first OB-GYN appointment this wendnesday and its with my mom's midwife whose going to be doing the examination. Also, I'm so nervous because I'm 22, and I'm unsure if theres the possiblity that my mom's midwife will mention to my mom that I've had sex. Though, I didn't have sex until I was 21, but I'm still relatively nervous of how this whole situation would go. Plus would the whole doctor & patient confidentiality still apply to midwives too even if they know your mom???? %-)

If she's acting in that type of professional capacity, I think it's reasonable to expect that confidentiality.
However I don't think you have anything to worry about. I don't believe she can tell if you've had sex unless it was just before you went to her and there's still semen dripping out of you. The lack of a hymen means nothing unless she has checked you before and has seen one there. Even then it doesn't mean you had sex just because it's missing.
I think you can relax. Besides you are old enough to do your own thing anyway.
