The facts: I'm 45; no children; 1 pregnancy ended in mc; went thru 2 years of IUI infertility treatments; fiance had a vasectomy 7+ years ago; my last (4 months ago) fsh was 8.15; periods have been regular (28 days) with minor exception since I was 10; LMP was 16 Nov for normal 5 days; bled again (light-med spotting) 26-28 Nov; now - mild, infrequent, normal cramping over the last 8 days; tender breasts since 5 days ago; have been 'roasting' at night for the last 4 nights; expected period on 13 Dec (4 days ago); also, we moved into a new house, our first together, on 10 Nov.

My thoughts: the spotting was really unusual, but is it just one of the many new experiences I can expect during this perimenopausal adventure? Did the spotting reset my cycle clock by 10 days? How crazy am I to even consider for a moment the idea of pregnancy? How am I not spontaneously combusting in the middle of the night? Being that warm and not being sick is just wrong.
