Hi, folks. A good friend of mine has been diagnosed with testicle cancer. I must admit that I do not know much about it, so I would like to find out something more. Can anyone tell me something more? Is it always deadly? I will really appreciate all the replies to my post. Thank you in advance.

Hello, there. I am sorry to hear about your friend. It all depends on the staging of the tumor. If it affects only one testicle, then prognosis can be good. It also depends on the type of the tumor. The five year survival rate is pretty good. If it has not spread on the nearby tissues, then this rate is 99%. Even it has spread to nearby tissues, this rate is about 95%. If it has spread beyond nearby lymphatic nodes, then this rate is 71%. I hope this will help. Bye!
