I am 26 years old. About 2 months ago I had my left ovary and fallopian tube removed. Because of all the endometriosis
they had to remove and all the swelling they couldn't tell if I still had my right fallopian tube or not. I have been having unprotected sex since my surgery and so far no pregnancy... For the last 6 weeks I have had light bleeding, spotting most days and I was wondering if it could be my period and why would I have it for so long? I used a whole month of birth control (Loestrin 24) and it didn't stop the bleeding. Can I still get pregnant if I have no fallopian tubes left and just one ovary? I don't have insurance right now but will in a few months, should I see a doctor now or wait?

IF you have 1 ovary you can still get pregnant, but those chances are Extremely slim.

When our insides are messed with - such a tubal ligation, a hysterectomy, a laproscopic surgery, birth, miscarriage etc. Our uterus and other organs DOESN'T like it one bit, So most times it is normal too bleed for up to 6 weeks. That is when the uterus goes back too normal. The doctor would have looked all through your insides and lifted up your uterus and tubes etc. This would have really aggravated it.

I was wondering why the doctor didn't tell you to not have sex for a little while after? Because it is too early after a trauma too the sensitive areas. When you are having sex, your whole sexual organs tense and release, SO I AM worried that you might have hurt the stitched or cortorized areas.

The good thing out of your statement is that you have been light spotting, which is normal. When you ahve endmeriosis, it is very hard too become pregnant, but definitely NOT impossible. and PLEASE what ever you do, do not self medicate by taking BCP here and there, they can play havoc with your hormones OK? IF the bleeding doesn't stop withing the next week, I would suggest you seeing the doctor for a followup. Then when you see him/her ask them about having sex and getting pregnant. I think you should abstain till then. Because you just don't know if you are damaging this sensitive area or not.

Good luck and keep me updated OK?
